Winter 2017 Full-Stack (Intro + Advanced)
HackerYou College of Technology / January 2017 – April 2017
This course is designed for front-end developers with demonstrable knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. We were taught how to integrate back-end languages and frameworks into our existing front-end skill set. We added interactivity to front-end applications using React, worked with platform-as-a-service providers like Firebase, and how to build full backends using Express.js and Mongoose.
Education & Skills
Diploma, Multi Media Design and Producton
Fanshawe College / 2006 – 2008
Since high school I started experimenting and learning new things in the media industry. I always found great enjoyment in creating artistic forms of media. Then I went to college for Multi Media Design and Production to strengthen what I already knew and to go onto learning more exciting things. In college I worked hard to make sure what I handed in was the best quality work. A lot of times my sleeping patterns were messed up because of the many hours I dedicated to my work (ex: sleeping every other night). As a result I kept on getting onto the dean’s honor roll.

Junior Media Developer @ Swiss Virtual Business School
November 2009 – September 2010
Involved in building an E-Learning solution for Allianz. We were helping the company solve one of their major problems – they lost over 25% of their sales force every year! This costs the company a lot of money, and – even worse – it affects the bottom line. How can the company be profitable if they don’t have a consistent and reliable sales force. So we created an extended multi-media educational experience that would turn potential salespeople into sophisticated insurance consultants, thereby increasing retention and positively affecting corporate performance.
